Inspire IVF are proud to announce that we are the first IVF Clinic in Thailand to become a member of the Oncofertility Consortium.
Oncofertility is a field of medicine concerned with minimizing the negative effects of cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy or radiation) on the reproductive system and fertility and with assisting individuals with reproductive impairments resulting from cancer therapy.
At Inspire IVF, we actively encourage Fertility Preservation, which is the process of saving or protecting eggs, sperm, or reproductive tissue so that a person can use them to have biological children in the future.
Fertility preservation is becoming increasingly important to improve the quality of life in cancer survivors. A number of techniques are available for fertility preservation, and they can be used individually or together in the same patient to maximize efficiency. Both chemotherapy and radiotherapy have a major impact on reproductive potential and fertility preservation procedures should be carried out prior to these treatments.
