Who wants to have children IUI is one of the ways that can help you
IUI (Intra uterine Insemination) is the injection of prepared sperm into the uterus on the day of ovulation. The process will start from hormone pills to stimulate the eggs in the female sex by tracking the quality and size of the eggs. Once the desired eggs are obtained, the doctor will prescribe medication to induce ovulation and make an appointment with the patient to inject the previously prepared sperm into the uterine cavity. Approximately 10 to 14 days after the semen injection, you will be scheduled for a blood test to check for pregnancy.
IUI is most commonly used in couples who do not detect the cause of infertility. Or in a married couple where the woman is healthy, there is no problem, but the man has problems with vaginal ejaculation.
The success rate of IUI is about 5 – 15%, depending on the quality of the eggs. The number of fertilized eggs and sperm fertility are also the primary factors, so IUI is not recommended for couples with fallopian tube problems or obstruction of the fallopian tubes. Males with low sperm quality are not good because the results will have a relatively low chance of success.
We have a guide on how to behave after IUI to introduce to you as well:
- Sleep for 20-30 minutes after the vaccination.
- Refrain from sexual intercourse on the day of IUI.
- Get enough rest and exercise.
